A North East Resident for over 20 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2568 of North East and was a believer in the Mooseheart program for children. Sal coached little league baseball in North East for many years. He was the owner and President of Izzo Electric of North East. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. His main love was his family. Sal was a quite and humble man who enjoyed helping others without needing the public recognition. Many have said that "Sal had a heart as big as his body."
