Dr EddinsI visited Chautauqua this past weekend with my sister.I have told her about the many happy days Ed and I spent as guests in your home for several weekends years ago.I saw the memoriam in the Chautauqua paper and was moved to express my sympathy for your loss.Thank you for making Chautauqua a very special place. To Willie and Mrs Eddins my deepest sympathies. Myriad memories of growing up on Fairlawn rushed by upon hearing of Mr. Eddins passing. Playing at your house and having dinner with your family. My most vivid memory is a scene that played out nightly, the street lights would come on and Mr Eddins would holler for Willie home and practice the piano...

We have been truly blessed to have known such a fine man. Uncle Berkley was one of the happiest people I have known and I know that was in part because of his lovely wife my Aunt Essie. Aunt Essie I love you very much! He will be greatly missed. To the family keep your head up and remember to love and cherish those you love while they are still living.
