A Westfield resident most all her life, Alberta was a member of the 500 Rummy Card Club for many years. She and her late husband, Stanton, wintered in Lake Placid, Florida for about 20 years prior to his death. Prior to their retirement, they operated the family dairy and grape farm Persons Road in Westfield for many years and were active leaders of 4-H when their children were young. She was a member of the Westfield Grange. Alberta was an avid reader and enjoyed canning, however, her main love was for her family.
