WESTFIELD - Robert E. Besch, age 84, of Westfield, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at home following a brief illness. Bob was born on April 23, 1932 in Orchard Park, NY, a son of the late Edmund S. and Marion (Marshall) Besch. He had been the owner of the Bristol Burgess Insurance Agency in Westfield for many years retiring in1994 when his son Ed took over the Agency. Survivors include his wife, Joyce A. (Beitz) Besch, his daughter Allyson (Walt) Caison of Raleigh, NC and his son: Edmund (Patrice) Besch of Westfield, NY. Grandfather of: Robert Caison, Maxwell Besch, Travis Caison and, Macy Besch. Great grandfather of Ryker Besch. Brother of Marshall, John "Jack", and David Besch, Marion "Mimmi" Krug and Fred and Stuart Besch. Proceeded in death by his sister Anne Besch. Honoring Bob's request, all services will be private.
