WESTFIELD - Paul W. Ossman, age 85,formerly of Westfield, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Chautauqua County Home of Dunkirk, NY. Mr. Ossman was born November 8, 1928 in Westfield, NY a son of the late Herman and Agnes (Skelton) Ossman. Paul married Patricia A. Warren on August 27, 1948 and together they raised seven children. He was employed by Welch Foods, Westfield, NY as a(n) . He is survived by three daughters: Peggy A. Bane of Norfolk ,VA, Paula J. Wingfield of Painesville, OH, Lisa M. Jansen of Dunkirk, NY and two sons: Kenneth R. Ossman of Macedon, NY, Frank W. Ossman of Randolph, NY; Brother of one sister: Mary Bielak of Wattsburg, PA and two brothers: Floyd "Bud" Ossman of Paasco , WA, Leo Ossman of Rehoboth Beach, DE; he also has two grandchildren. grandchildren, 14 Grandchildren; grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren of. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, who died in 2004, two sisters, Betty Overlander and Dorothy Walker, his brothers, Fred Ossman and Herman Ossman,Jr., a daughter, Vicki L. Ossman, and a son, Jeffery A. Ossman. Burial will be in Westfield Cemetery, Erie on Monday, October 27 at . . WESTFIELD - Paul W. Paul married his sweetheart, Patricia A. Warren, on August 27, 1948 and together they raised seven children. He had been employed by Welch Foods, Westfield, NY as a boiler operator for 31 years before retiring in 1988. Paul is survived by three daughters: Peggy A. Bane of Norfolk ,VA, Paula J. Wingfield of Painesville, OH, and Lisa M. Jansen of Dunkirk, NY, and by his two sons: Kenneth R. Ossman of Macedon, NY, and Frank W. Ossman of Randolph, NY; one sister: Mary Bielak of Wattsburg, PA and three brothers: Floyd "Bud" Ossman of Pasco , WA, Leo Ossman of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Fred Ossman, of Brocton, NY. He is further survived by many grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Warren) Ossman, who died in 2004, his daughter, Vicki L. Ossman, his son, Jeffery A. Ossman, as well as by his two sisters, Betty Overlander and Dorothy Walker, and his brother Herman Ossman, Jr. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at the Westfield Cemetery, Academy Street, Westfield, NY on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 1 PM. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made the Lakeshore Assembly of God, 252 East Main St., Westfield, NY 14787. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
