WESTFIELD - Marian B. Cleveland, age 88, of Westfield, died peacefully,Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Absolut Care of Westfield. of Westfield, NY. Mrs. Cleveland was born December 21, 1925 in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late Walter and the late Catherine (Corcoran) Valentine. She married Roy H.Cleveland on November 13, 1948 at Westfield, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy H. Cleveland on 11/19/1991. She retired from Westfield Agency, Westfield, NY as a(n) Bookkeeperin 1988. Mrs. Cleveland Cleveland was a member of First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield, where she was active in the Deaconess Board. YWCA Of Westfield, 58 So. Portage St., Westfield, NY 14787 She is survived by one daughter: Betsey R. Cleveland of Dryden, NY and one son: Paul G. Cleveland of Westfield, NY; ; she also has three grandchildren. x, 7 Great Grandchildren; Granddaughter, Adrienne Fisher of Phoenixville, PA; Granddaughter, Allison Cleveland of NYC, NY; granddaughter, Kyle Nemakay of Baltimore, MD. Predeceased by her Husband, Roy H. Cleveland. The funeral will be held on at First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield, 49 So. Portage St., Westfield, NY with officiating. Cleveland on November 13, 1948 at the First Presbyterian Church in Westfield, NY, and together they raised two children, Betsy R. Cleveland of Dryden, NY and Paul G. Cleveland of Westfield, NY. Her husband, Roy H. Cleveland, died November 19, 1991. Marian had been employed as a bookkeeper for the Westfield Agency Insurance Co. in Westfield, NY for many years and retired in 1988. Mrs. Cleveland was a member of First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield, where she was active in the Deaconess Board and was also active with the YWCA of Westfield. Marian is survived by her two children and a brother, Walter Biddeman, three grandchildren, Adrienne Fisher of Phoenixville, PA, Allison Cleveland of NYC, NY, Kyle (John) McGeeney of Silver Springs, MD and 6 great-grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Love, two brothers, Eugene and Edward "Bus" Biddeman. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the funeral service, Saturday, April 12, 2014, beginning at 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield, 49 South Portage St., Westfield, NY, where the funeral service will held at 11:00 am with the Rev. Dana Vaughn officiating. Burial will be private in the Westfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on Marian's behalf to the First Presbyterian Church And Society Of Westfield, 49 South Portage St., Westfield, NY 14787 or to the Westfield YWCA, 58 South Portage Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
