Obituary of James Robert Deblois

WESTFIELD - James Robert Deblois, age 32, of Westfield, died unexpectedly, Friday, September 20, 2013 in Mayville, NY. James was born on May 26, 1981 in Farmington, CT., the son of Rhonda Madore-Mutch of Westfield, NY and Robert F Deblois of Litchfield, CT. James graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School in 1999 and enlisted in the US Army and served honorably until his discharge in 2001. James graduated from EIT after studying Computer Technology. He was an avid NY Giants fan and had been a Golden Gloves Boxer in the Army and enjoyed UFC fighting. James was all about his family. His children were everything to him and he did his very best to be a great Dad. He was an accomplished Chef and most recently he had been employed as a Chef at the Sunset Bar & Grill, in Lake Guntersville, AL where he was complimented personally for his cooking by the musical Band, Alabama, for whom he had prepared a meal. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, motorcycles and four wheelers. He had a great sense of humor and infectious smile and laugh. Besides his parents James is survived by his step father, Timothy Mutch of Westfield, James is survived by his two daughters: Arianna Deblois of Brunswick, GA, and Kyleigh Deblois of Westfield, NY and by his one son: Gavin Deblois of Meadville, PA. He is further survived by his three sisters: Sheena (Kyle) Miller of Lake Guntersville, AL, Samantha Mutch of Westfield, and Kelsey Deblois of Southington, CT, as well as by his Maternal grandmother, Jane Madore of Bristol, CT; Maternal Grandmother, Ellen Huard of Jamestown, NY; Maternal Grandfather, Norman (Janice) Madore of Plainville, CT; Paternal Grandmother, Jeanette Deblois of Southington, CT, and Paternal Grandfather, Robert (Sandra) Deblois, Sr. of Plainville, CT. Three Nieces and two Nephews and many cousins also survive. James was preceded in death by his Great Grandfather, James Huard and his Uncle, Walter Madore. Friends may call on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY, and are invited to attend the funeral services there at 11:00 am on Monday, morning, September 23, 2013.
