Obituary of Wanda J. Pipher

Wanda J. "Scotty" (Nuttall) Pipher, age 82, of Desmond Rd., Rochester, NY formerly of Sherman and Westfield, NY, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Unity Hospital at Park Ridge in Rochester. Wanda was born on May 13, 1929 in Sherman, NY, the daughter of the late Kay and Ruth (Alday) Nuttall. A Westfield resident since 1966, Wanda was a 1948 Regents Diploma Graduate of Sherman High School. She had been employed at the former Caldwell's Nursing Home in Westfield and retired from Westfield Memorial Hospital in 1994 having served as both a Nurse's Aide and a Ward Clerk. Wanda moved to the Rochester area several years ago. She had been a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Westfield. She is survived by her four children: Hilary "Hi-Dee" (Kirk) Jaynes of Rochester, NY, Medie (Wiley Whippet) Paddleford of Atlanta, GA, Judy (Rick) Rupczyk of Westfield, NY and Allen (Carolyn) Vogt of Springville, NY. She is the proud grandmother of: Robert Chrispen, Jen (Bill) Leach, Layla, Danice and Jesse Vogt, Allison Jaynes, Eric (Vanessa) Jaynes and great Grandmother to, Darrell, Little Robert, Emily, Alex and Lucas. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her half brother, Russell Watters. Friends may call at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 4-6 PM. The Funeral Services will immediately follow at 6:00 Pm with Rev. Kevin Connolly officiating. Burial will be private.
