Ricardo Vazquez, II, age 20, of Silver Creek, NY, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY. Ricardo was born on April 12, 1990 in Dunkirk, NY the son of Ricardo Vazquez of Dunkirk and Yumi (Pandak) Vazquez of Silver Creek. A Chautauqua County resident all his life, "Slick Rick" was a wonderful young man with an outgoing personality, yet private in his own way. He enjoyed life to its fullest and was know as a great debater. His young son was the love of his life. Ricardo was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed music. He was always on the go, spending time with his many friends. Besides his mother, Yumi, (Ismael Merced), with whom he made his home, he is survived by his father, Ricardo of Dunkirk, his son: Ricardo Xavier Victor Vazquez and his mother, Inez Gonzalez also of Dunkirk, his two sisters, Sasha Vazquez of Silver Creek, and Amanda Merced of Hollywood, FL, his two brothers: Robert Pandak and Kenneth Merced both of Silver Creek, his maternal grandmother, Chun Pandak and his aunt, Lisa Pandak both of Irving, NY. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lee Pandak. At the request of family, all services were held privately.
