When I was a kid, Mr. King introduced me to geo science and biology, hence igniting my interest and current profession in the applied life sciences. Our family lived on Findlay street in York Pa, two doors away. Every time I visited with Albert C. I always got an education from the entire family. My condolences Bob King, Rochester NY

I worked with Al at York College for 18 years. He was a close and valued colleague. In addition to his excellent teaching he was president of the faculty for a year. He is deeply missed. My sympathy to his son and sisters.

Enjoyed delivering meals on wheels to Mr. King. Making him laugh and smile was a lot of fun. Him thinking I was celebrating Dyngus Day or Mardi Gras in July was particularly fun.

Albert was such a kind and gentle person. His age and frailty didn't stop him or keep him home. His interest in the Italian heritage in Westfield was a wonderful tribute to all of us third generation children, our parents and grandparents. I did not know Mr. King personally, but what a wonderful life he led. I am not surprised at the number of former Westfield residents that return "home" to the town where they were born and grew up. I would like to do the same thing. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father.
