Leon D. “Denny” Reardon

October 9, 1939- June 13, 2026

Leon D. Reardon, 86, of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday evening June 13, 2026 with his family at his side.

He was born in Westfield, NY on October 9, 1939, the son of the late Leon and Althea (Miller) Reardon. He married Shirley Ann (Kramer) who preceded in death on June 22, 2019, after 51 years of marriage.

Surviving are three children: Jackie (late Raymond) Camargo-Gonzales of Pueblo, CO, Yolanda Reardon of Jamestown, NY and Leonie Huch of Westfield, NY; four cherished grandchildren, Bradley, Ryan, Emma and Erin; four great-grandchildren, Lakoda, Andrew, Amelia and Hazel; a sister, Grace Lancaster of Dunkirk, NY; a sister-in-law, Linda Reardon of Westfield, NY; also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Denny was predeceased by five siblings, William, Ernie, Shirley, Katie and Jimmy Reardon.

Denny lived in Colorado for a short period of time working on the pipeline. He moved back to Westfield in 1966 and was employed at 76 Truck Stop in North East, Pa as a mechanic with more than 30 years of service. He also worked at Edward Express for 9 years and Edgewater Condos in maintenance until he was 79.He worked several jobs, sometimes 3 at a time.

In his younger years he enjoyed stock car racing. Then attending them, going to car shows, watching local bands mainly “ Cloud Called 9” and watching football. He looked forward to his Coffee Club meetings with Dave, Ed, Mike and many others.

Relatives and friends may call at the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 4-7PM. Interment will private in the Westfield Cemetery.
