Joseph L. Rasinski

August 5, 1942 – April 19, 2016

Joseph L. Rasinski, 83, of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, April 19, 2026 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.

He was born on August 5, 1942 in Buffalo, NY the son of the late John and Jessica (Jankowski) Rasinski. He married Lucy A. Przybysz on August 13, 1966.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 59 years, Lucy Rasinski; two loving children, Jennifer (Gerald) Rasinski of Gowanda, NY and Jill (Matthew) Mumbach of Sardinia, NY; three cherished grandsons, Zachary (Gina) Drozd, Andrew and Noah Mumbach; a great granddaughter, Violet Mumbach; also three step-grandchildren, Jayden, Jacob and Jayliana.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Rasinski.

Joe was a 1960 graduate of Bishop Ryan High School in Buffalo, NY. He continued his education at ECC earning an Associate Degree in Chemistry. He worked for Snyder Tank retiring after more than 20 years of service.

As per Joe’s wishes there will be no public visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held in the future, date and time to be announced.
