Nathalie Marie Falcone

May 10, 1925 – Nov. 28, 2025

Nathalie M. (Nath) Falcone, age 100 , a longtime Erie resident, formerly of

Westfield, NY, passed away on Nov. 28, 2025 at the Lecom Regency at Southshore in Erie, Pa.

Nathalie was born on May 10, 1925 in Wesfield, NY. The daughter of the

late Charlotte (Nichols) Haywood and Alvin Haywood.

Nathalie graduated from Westfield High School where she met her

husband, Richard A. Falcone. Following his distinguished service in WWII

the couple married and moved to Erie, PA. They founded and owned the

Juvenile Bootery shoe store on 26 th Street that fit back to school, Easter

and dance shoes for many generations of Erie youth. Dick and Nathalie

were married for 73 years before Dick’s passing in 2018.

Nath was an avid artist, boater and RV traveler. The couple spent many

summer days on their boat “Susanna” where she enjoyed trips to

Barcelona, NY and throughout Lake Erie. Dick and Nath traveled with their

motor home all over the country, particularly to Texas where they spent

many winter months.

Nathalie was affectionately known as “Nanny” by her grandchildren and

great grandchildren and enjoyed their visits and watching them grow up.

Nathalie is survived by her daughter, Susan Spencer and her husband

John of Kerrville, Texas; her son Danny Falcone of North Augusta, South

Carolina and his children and grandchildren: Danielle Lawn (husband Matt

and children Morgan and Zach) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Adam Falcone

(wife Katie and children Kevin and Allison) of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home , 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY.
