Richard A. Richmond , 76, of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Rich was born on December 21, 1948 in Gowanda, NY the son of the late Jerrold Richmond and Vivian Dewey, Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Linda (Daminski) Richmond; his daughter, Heather (Justin)Kinney; his son, Scott (Peter Moll)Richmond; and his cherished grandsons, Lucas and Seth Zielinski. He is also survived by his brother, Jerrold (Kate Booth) Richmond; his sister, Margaret (Raymond) Sheldon; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael, whom he now joins in eternal peace.

A celebration of Richard’s life will held at the Westfield American Legion,7579 E. Main St. Westfield, NY on October 12, 2025, from 1 pm - 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to their hearts.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY.
