Donald W. Sortore Jr.

Donald W. Sortore Jr. 59, of Westfield, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning August 11, 2025 at his home.

He was born on October 9, 1965 in Westfield, NY, the son of Donald W. and Susan (nee Bajdo) Sortore.

Don was a lifetime area resident who graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School in 2017.

Don enjoyed playing video games, watching WWE wrestling, reading and watching sci-fi. He also loved his feline companions.

He is survived by his mother Susan Sortore of Westfield, NY; two children, Andrew Sortore of Fredonia, NY and Brittany Sortore of Forestville, NY; a step-son, Alan Bourquin; five grandsons; a sister, Sally (Paul) Farnham of Portland, NY; a niece, Linda (Steve) Keefer of New Castle, Pa; his former wife, Kimberly Bourquin of Westfield, NY.

Don was predeceased by his father, Donald W. Sortore Sr.

As per Don’s wishes services will be private. Interment will be made in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Don’s family suggest memorial contributions in his memory be made to the Westfield Stray Cat Rescue, 59 E. Main St. Westfield, NY 14787.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St. Westfield, NY.
