James Patrick Dwyer, age 61, of Westfield, NY, formerly of Clarence, NY died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Absolut Care of Westfield, NY following a brief illness. Jim was born on December 4, 1955 in Clarence, NY, the son of the late James and Florence A. (Holdraker) Dwyer. Jim grew up in Clarence and was a 1973 graduate of Bishop Newman High School in Williamsville. He earned two Associate Degrees from ECC North, one in Social Sciences and another in Material Technology. He had been employed for 10 years By Pratt and Lambert Industrial Coatings in Cheektowaga as a product Manager prior to becoming disabled by a bicycle accident on July 7, 1993. In 1994 Jim relocated to Westfield and enjoyed the many friends he made while a resident. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #118 of Westfield. Jim was a Buffalo sports fan, always rooting for the Bills and Sabres. He had a passion for his Fantasy Football hobby; however, his greatest love was for his daughters, grandchildren and family. He is survived by his two daughters: Kristen (Robert) Frost and Ashley Robert) Cronyn both of East Amherst, NY, his three grandsons, Brody and Jameson Frost, and Robert James "RJ" Cronyn all of East Amherst, NY, and by his former wife, Kim (Russell) Dwyer also of East Amherst, NY. Jim is further survived by his sister: Bonnie Jenkins of Balboa Island, CA. Friends may call at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 11 AM until the time of Funeral Services there at 12:00 noon with Fr. Joseph Walter officiating. Private Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY.
