BROCTON - Lynda K.(Farnham) Ameno, age 57, of Central Avenue, Brocton, NY died peacefully Friday, October 21, 2016 at Brooks Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born September 18, 1959 in Westfield, NY. a daughter of the late William and Geraldine (Mills) Farnham. Lynda was a graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School class of 1977. She was employed by Westfield Memorial Hospital in Westfield, NY starting in 1990 as a CNA and currently was working in the patient billing department. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her sisters and her family. She is survived by her two sons, Nathan Szwejbka of Naples, Florida and Joseph Ameno and her three sisters, Judy Palmer of Westfield, NY, Mary (Al) Smith of North East, PA and Patricia (Ron) Wetzel of Warren, PA, also survived by her six brothers, William (Arlene) Farnham of Stockton, NY, Tim (Laura) Farnham of Portland, NY, Sydney (Kathy) Farnham of Westfield, NY, John Farnham of Virginia Beach, VA, Kenneth Farnham of Erie, PA and Paul (Bev) Farnham of Portland, NY. Further survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother In Law, Garry Palmer, who died September 5th, 2016. A celebration of Lynda's life will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the West Portland Baptist Church,7081 East Rt. 20, Westfield, NY. Per Lynda's request, there will be no prior visitation and burial will be held privately at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions on Lynda's behalf may be made to the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation, 189 East Main Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
