S. Scott Mason, CFSP,  President of the Mason Funeral Home in Westfield, NY has been New York State Licensed Funeral Director since 1991, and a Pennsylvania licensed Funeral Director since 1984. 

Mason is a graduate of SUNY Canton with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science, and also attended Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania where he studied Psychology and Sociology.  

Scott was a former elected Coroner for Wyoming County, NY during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.  He is a Past President of The New York State Funeral Directors Association and has served on the Association’s Board of Directors for over 15 years.  He is very active with the Association serving on several committees both, State and Nationally.  Mason is a member and former vice president of the Chautauqua County Funeral Directors Association, and serves as Chairman of the SUNY Canton Mortuary Science Advisory Board.

Active in many civic affairs, he is a former Assistant Fire Chief for the Westfield Village Fire Department, former Chairman of the Westfield United Fund, and a former member of the Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club where he was honored with the Paul Harris Fellow award. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Westfield Memorial Hospital and a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.

When time permits, Scott enjoys golf and skiing.

Douglas W. Sanderson is a NYS licensed Funeral Director and a native of Westfield.  He is the son of James and Shirley (Leach) Sanderson and the husband of Donna (Winslow) Sanderson. Doug, as he is known, is a 1983 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School where he was active in athletics and music.  He continued his education at the American Academy-McAllister Institute where he received his degree in Occupational Studies-Funeral Directing.
Doug is no stranger to Funeral Service; he has worked at the funeral home in various capacities since he was 16 years old.  He has always had a passion for Funeral Service and for helping others in their time of need. Doug is a Member of the Chautauqua County Funeral Directors Association.
Doug is a Member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #118 of Westfield and the Westfield Fireman's Exempt Association. He is a former member and officer of the Fire Department of Westfield and it's Rescue Squad, where he served several years as Captain. 
In what little spare time he has, Doug enjoys spending time with his 3 children and his several  grandchildren.
